Closed-Loop Aerial Tracking with Dynamic Detection-Tracking Coordination by Yang Wang, Heqing Huang, Jiahao He, Dongting Han, Zhiwei Zhao

    Published 2025-06-01
“…In this paper, we propose a closed-loop framework integrating three key components: (1) a lightweight adaptive detection with multi-scale feature extraction, (2) spatiotemporal motion modeling through Kalman-filter-based trajectory prediction, and (3) autonomous decision-making through composite scoring of detection confidence, appearance similarity, and motion consistency. By implementing dynamic detection-tracking coordination with quality-aware feature preservation, our system enables real-time operation through performance-adaptive frequency modulation. …”

LTE resource-aware dynamic adaptive wireless multimedia streaming system by Bingjiang CAI

    Published 2021-01-01
“…The quality of user experience in adaptive video streaming, to a large extent, depends on the accuracy of the end-to-end bandwidth estimation. However, bandwidth estimation is very challenging in highly dynamic LTE network.LTE resource-aware dynamic adaptive wireless multimedia streaming system was designed and implemented in which the LTE resource block monitor module keeps monitoring the cell-wide physical layer resource utility. The rate scaling mechanism mapped the throughput to an estimation of available bandwidth and the rate adaption algorithm selected the most appropriate representation combining current available bandwidth with buffer state and played a trade-off between video quality and the risk of stalling. The experimental results on the prototype system show that comparing with the two baseline algorithms, the proposed system achieves the highest average video bitrate while maintaining a fairly low stalling rate, and effectively enhances the quality of experience.…”

Fuzzy-Immune Adaptive Fractional-Order LQI Control for Robust and Intelligent Heart Rate Regulation in Cardiac Pacemakers by Omer Saleem, Daniyal Ahmed, Jamshed Iqbal

    Published 2025-06-01
“…This study presents the systematic design, implementation, and simulation-based validation of a novel fuzzy-immune adaptive Fractional-Order Linear Quadratic Integral (FO-LQI) control strategy for heart rate (HR) regulation using cardiac pacemakers. Unlike the conventional LQI controller, the proposed approach replaces the integer-order integrator with a fractional-order integral operator to enhance the controller’s design flexibility and dynamic response. …”
