Resource constraints, patient emotions, and therapy: experiences of healthcare providers in the screening and management of gestational diabetes mellitus in northern Ghana
Published 2025-02-01“…We ensured trustworthiness through reflexivity, member checking, peer-debriefing, providing rich text, and keeping an audit trail. Results Two main themes and six subthemes were generated. The first theme was resource-centred experiences, which explored events at the Antenatal Care (ANC) and the challenges in GDM screening and management, with subthemes namely: ANC setups, inadequate resources, and non-compliance. …”

Dynamics of linalool and its derivatives enantiomers in Camellia sinensis var. Assamica “Hainan dayezhong”
Published 2025-01-01“…We here analyzed changes in the proportion and content of chiral isomers of linalool and its derivatives in “Hainan dayezhong” throughout its life cycle from tea tree growth and tea manufacturing to brewing. The chiral isomers of aromatic compounds present in fresh tea leaves were found to undergo substantial diurnal and seasonal changes during tea tree growth, and their proportions varied slightly across different leaf positions. …”

Study on scour simulation and boundary condition conversion technology for a shallow foundation bridge
Published 2025-02-01“…To prevent and mitigate scouring risks, this paper investigates the riverbed scouring characteristics of shallow foundation bridges under different hydrological conditions. The study found that under high water levels and flow velocities, scour depth significantly increased.Under extreme hydrological conditions, a horseshoe vortex forms at the base of the front end of the bridge pier, causing scour pits on both sides of the upstream face of the foundation, which is the main cause of foundation voids that first appear at 2580 s with a maximum scour depth of -2.51 m and a void area of 0.5%, continuing to increase over time.Based on simulated scouring data, this study proposes a method for converting boundary conditions from a scouring model to a mechanical model. …”
