Comparative efficacy of conservative interventions for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis: a systematic review and network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Published 2025-07-01“…Brace plus physiotherapeutic scoliosis-specific exercises (PSSE, mean difference (MD): 4.80, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.56 to 9.04, moderate certainty), manual therapy plus PSSE (MD: 5.26, 95% CI: 1.09 to 9.43, moderate certainty), and manual therapy plus mind–body exercise (MD: 5.14, 95% CI: 1.25 to 9.04, moderate certainty) could be intermediately effective in improving Cobb angle of patients with AIS at post-interventions. Although brace alone (MD: 1.53, 95% CI: 1.09 to 2.14, high certainty) could be the intermediate effective intervention in preventing scoliosis progression, moderate to high certainty evidence showed that brace alone and PSSE alone probably have little or no difference in improving Cobb angle, function, mental health, self-image, angle of trunk rotation (ATR), or satisfaction of patients with AIS compared to minimal interventions. …”

Evaluating the effectiveness of clear aligner therapy in leveling the curve of spee: a comparative study of extraction vs. non-extraction patients
Published 2025-04-01“…Conclusions The extraction group showed less effectiveness in leveling the curve of Spee compared to the non-extraction group. The results of the regression analysis can aid clinicians in identifying factors that impact the post-treatment curve of Spee, thereby contributing to improved treatment outcomes.…”

A systematic comparative analysis of gait characteristics in patients undergoing total knee arthroplasty and unicompartmental knee arthroplasty: a review study
Published 2024-12-01“…However, seven studies identified superior gait recovery in the UKA group across various parameters, including walking speed, step and stride length, single support time, heel strike force, knee joint range of motion, knee flexion angles during different gait phases, peak knee adduction moment, peak tibial internal rotation moment, gait symmetry, and stride length symmetry (P < 0.05). Conclusions The analysis indicates that UKA offers certain advantages in post-operative gait improvements compared to TKA, though these do not translate into significant differences in conventional clinical scoring systems. …”

Effect of regular soccer training on morphological and motor characteristics of deaf girls aged 14–18 years: a comparative analysis
Published 2025-07-01“…Regular training appeared to result in similar 35-m sprint times among deaf and hearing female soccer players. A post-hoc analysis revealed no statistically significant differences between hearing and deaf female soccer players across most variables, except for peak torque relative to body mass during flexion at an angular velocity of 180°·s⁻1 and lower limb muscle force expressed relative to body mass in the counter-movement jump (CMJ) test. …”
