On the Klein–Gordon scalar field oscillators in a spacetime with spiral-like dislocations in external magnetic fields by Omar Mustafa, Abdullah Guvendi

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Abstract We investigate the effects of two types of spiral dislocation (the distortion of the radial line, labeled as spiral dislocation I, and the distortion of a circle, labeled as spiral dislocation II) on the relativistic dynamics of the Klein–Gordon (KG) oscillator fields, both in the presence and absence of external magnetic fields. …”

Study on the Impact of Climate Warming on Mariculture in China by GAO Jia, YANG Huaiyu

    Published 2024-09-01
“…The results show that: (1) Although there are inter-annual fluctuations and regional differencesin temperature changes among provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) there is an upward trend on the whole, confirming the macro background of global warming. (2) The overall output of mariculture in China is generally on the rise, especially in Liaoning, Shandong, Fujian, Guangdong and other provinces, which have become the core regions of mariculture in China. (3) Through in-depth analysis of the correlation between the temperature and the mariculture yield, it is found that there is a significant negative relationship between the two, that is, every 1% increase in temperature will lead to a decrease of about 2.65% in the mariculture yield. …”

An Efficient Computation of Effective Ground Range Using an Oblate Earth Model by Dalal A. Maturi, Malik Zaka Ullah, Shahid Ahmad, Fayyaz Ahmad

    Published 2014-01-01
“…The spherical Earth model does not provide good approximation of distance between two locations on the surface of Earth. We used oblate spheroid Earth model because it provides better approximations. …”

Grouting Design of Rich Water Tunnels and the Calculation of Distance between Annular Blind Pipes by Helin Fu, Pengtao An, Kai Li, Guowen Cheng, Jie Li, Xiaohui Yu

    Published 2020-01-01
“…The results show that (1) grouting reinforcement is an important means to reduce water seepage, and tunnel water seepage can be adjusted by changing the thickness and permeability coefficient of the grouting reinforcement circle, in which the thickness of the reinforcement circle should not be too large, and the permeability coefficient should not be less than 1/80 of the surrounding rock permeability coefficient; (2) according to the derived formula, the water pressure of the secondary lining structure decreases in a parabolic manner from the middle of the two rows of annular blind pipes to the place where the annular blind pipes are set; (3) the allowable water seepage of the tunnel and the design value of the water pressure resistance of the lining structure should be considered when determining the distance between annular blind pipes; and (4) based on the derived formula, the distance between the annular blind pipes in the test section of the Hongtu extra-long tunnel is determined to be 8 m.…”

Mechanics Parameter Optimization and Evaluation of Curtain Grouting Material in Deep, Water-Rich Karst Tunnels by Hai Shi, Mingzhou Bai, Shaochuan Xing

    Published 2017-01-01
“…The results show that (1) the grouting effect is the most notable one when the thickness of the grouting circle is outside the 4 m range of the tunnel contour. (2) In the same circle, the grouting quantity of the same ring is presented as a wave form. …”

Comparative analysis of flat multi-element electric field strength sensors with round base and various design features by S. V. Biryukov, E. G. Glukhoverya, A. V. Tyukin

    Published 2020-06-01
“…Sensors with sensitive elements in the form of a quadrant of a circle have a minimum of an error and a maximum of a spatial range of measurement at design parameters: b = 0 and b0 = 0,2; b = 0 and b0 = 0.4, for which, with a maximum spatial range of measurement equal to unity (a = 1), the errors are respectively minus 3 % and minus 10 %.…”
