Pubertal low dose exposure to benzophenone-3 (BP-3) alters murine mammary stem cell functions by Hui Gao, Xintong Yang, Pengge Pan, Xueli Liu, Yan Ma, Yadan Chen, Yunxin Liu, Yaqi Sun, Sinan Cao, Yuan Tian, Yanzhou Yang

    Published 2025-03-01
“…Notably, for the regenerated mammary glands formed by the basal mammary stem cells of BP-3-treated mice, a decrease in the fraction of basal mammary stem cells and decreased expression levels of the milk protein β-casein and STAT5 were observed. Taken together, our data suggest that pubertal BP-3 exposure decreases the function of basal mammary stem cells such that they induce the abnormal development of mammary glands.…”

REVIRAL: roadmap for the elimination of viral hepatitis in Latin America by Javier Crespo, Javier Crespo, Javier Crespo, Joaquín Cabezas, Joaquín Cabezas, Graciela Castro-Narro, Hugo Cheinquer, Fernando Contreras, Nelia Hernandez, Christie Perelló, Christie Perelló, Christie Perelló, Ezequiel Ridruejo, José Luís Calleja, José Luís Calleja, José Luís Calleja

    Published 2025-05-01
“…These factors hinder progress towards elimination, necessitating collaborative responses tailored to the epidemiological and socioeconomic realities of each country. The project’s structure is organized into three fundamental phases: The first phase involves an initial assessment, where the epidemiological situation of each country will be analyzed, specifically the prevalence and incidence data of viral hepatitis and the response capacity of each country’s health systems. …”

    MECHANISMS OF MANTLE‐CRUST INTERACTION AT DEEP LEVELS OF COLLISION OROGENS (CASE OF THE OLKHON REGION, WEST PRIBAIKALIE) by A. G. Vladimirov, A. S. Mekhonoshin, S. V. Khromykh, E. I. Mikheev, A. V. Travin, N. I. Volkova, T. B. Kolotilina, Yu. A. Davydenko, E. V. Borodina, V. V. Khlestov

    Published 2017-06-01
“…Considering petrology, the deep mafic chamber under the layer of granulite facies is evidenced by metamorphic magma mingling, as well as pipe‐shaped intrusions characterized by the specific morphology, internal structure and bulk rock compositions. Based on the data on the Ulan‐Khargana mas‐ sif and gabbro‐pyroxenite bodies involved in the structure of the marble melange, we propose a petrological model showing two stages of mafic injection – Stage 1: hydraulic fracturing of granulite series and the emergence of tubular structures and bodies, which are similar to kimberlite pipes or channels of different shapes; Stage 2: rising of the flu‐ idized residual alkaline melt through the emerging ‘pipes’ and fractures armored by hardened zones, which is fol‐ lowed by metamorphic magma mingling under viscous deformation conditions. …”
