Jingtian granule alleviates adenine-induced renal fibrosis in mice through SIRT3-Mediated deacetylation of P53
Published 2025-03-01“…The protein levels of SIRT3, P53, glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4), and solute carrier family 7 member 11 (SLC7A11) were detected by Western blot. Subsequently, under the premise of SIRT3 knockout, renal function, fibrosis level, iron metabolism level, and lipid peroxidation level were detected, and mitochondrial damage was observed by transmission electron microscope (TEM). …”

Effects of Alprostadil on experimental peritoneal fibrosis in rats
Published 2015-01-01“…Objective To investigate the effects and possible action mechanism of Alprostadil in the treatment of experimental peritoneal fibrosis in rats. Methods The rat peritoneal fibrosis model was induced by high glucose dialysate and lipopolysaccharide(LPS).The rats were randomly divided into five groups:control group, model group,low-dose Alprostadil-treated group,middle-dose Alprostadil-treated group and high-dose Alprostadil-treated group. The Alprostadil-treated groups received daily intraperitoneal injection of different doses of Alprostadil.Six weeks later all rats were anaesthetized. The peritoneal membrane function was investigated by peritoneal equilibration test(PET).The abdominal membrane was stained with HE and Masson method. The levels of TGF-β and TLR4 in peritoneum were detected by immunohistochemical method. Results The number of vascularity in model group was greater than that in Alprostadil-treated groups. The concentrations of TGFβand TLR4 in blood and dialysate were also decreased obviously in Alprostadil-treated groups. The levels of TGFβ and TLR4 in peritoneumin in Alprostadil-treated groups were significantly lower than those in model group. Conclusions Alprostadil are beneficial to the prevention and treatment of peritoneal fibrosis in experimental model rats.…”

Effect of High Frequency Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation on Postoperative Cognitive Dysfunction in Elderly Mice Based on BDNF/TrkB Signaling Pathway
Published 2024-01-01“…On the third day after operation, the locomotor activity of mice was evaluated by open field test (percentage of stay time in the central area, total distance and average speed of movement); On the fourth day after operation, the cognitive function of mice was evaluated by Y-maze test (the percentage of times to enter the new arm,the percentage of time to stay in the new arm,and the total distance to move the new arm); After the Y-maze test, the protein expression levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF),tropomyosin related kinase B (TrkB) and nerve growth factor (NGF) in mice hippocampus were detected by immunoblotting.Results(1) Exercise capacity:there was no significant difference in the percentage of time spent in the central area of the open field, total distance and average speed among the three groups (P>0. 05). (2) Cognitive function:there was no significant difference among the three groups in the percentage of times of exploring new forearm (P>0. 05); Compared with the control group, the percentage of stay time in the new arm and the total distance of new arm movement in the operation group were significantly reduced, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0. 05). …”
