Neuropad Assessment of Sudomotor Function Across Glycemic Levels in Adults
Published 2025-04-01“…With increasing FPG and HbA1c levels, the 10-minute slope decreased progressively (P =0.003, P=0.006). (2) A multivariable linear mixed-effects model adjusted for confounders indicated that previously diagnosed diabetes was an independent predictor of reduced sudomotor function. (3) Adjusting for the same confounders, previously diagnosed diabetes was associated with a 3.480-fold greater risk of incomplete color change than was normoglycemia (OR = 3.480, 95% CI = 1.506– 8.042). (4) Age, BMI, ALB, eGFR, and alcohol consumption history were closely associated with sudomotor function. Conclusion: There is a progressive decline in sudomotor function with increasing blood glucose levels in a physical examination cohort, and previously diagnosed diabetes emerges as an independent risk factor for sudomotor dysfunction. Keywords: neuropad, sudomotor dysfunction, sudomotor function, physical examination cohort, DPN…”

Functional analysis of cyclic diguanylate-modulating proteins in Vibrio fischeri
Published 2024-11-01“…This work presents a systems-level functional analysis of a family of signaling proteins in a tractable animal symbiont and will inform future efforts to characterize the roles of individual proteins during lifestyle transitions.IMPORTANCECyclic diguanylate (c-di-GMP) is a critical second messenger that mediates bacterial behaviors, and Vibrio fischeri colonization of its Hawaiian bobtail squid host presents a tractable model in which to interrogate the role of c-di-GMP during animal colonization. …”

Novel Data-Driven PDF Modeling in FGM Method Based on Sparse Turbulent Flame Data
Published 2025-07-01“…The Flamelet Generated Manifold (FGM) method is widely employed in turbulent combustion simulations due to its high accuracy and computational efficiency. However, the model’s ability to capture turbulent combustion interactions is limited by the shape of the presumed probability density function (PDF) of the mixture fraction and progress variable. …”

Time series generation model based on multi-discriminator generative adversarial network
Published 2022-10-01“…Aiming at the problems of expensive collection cost and missing data due to the privacy and continuity of time series data set, a multi-discriminator generative adversarial network model based on recurrent neural network was proposed, which could synthesize time series dataset that were approximately distributed with real data of a small scale dataset.Multi-discriminator included four discriminators in time domain, frequency domain, time-frequency domain and autocorrelation.Different discriminators could effectively recognize the features of the time series in different domains. In the experiment, the convergence of loss function, principal component analysis and error analysis were performed to evaluate the performance of the model from qualitative and quantitative perspectives. The experimental results show that the proposed model has better performance than other reference models.…”
