A Combinatorial Approach to Obtain the Yield Probability Distribution along a Linearly-Loaded Cantilever Beam
Published 2016-09-01“…The procedure in the present research is to establish, modify, and implement an optimized amalgamation between Airy stress function for elastically-deformed media and the multi-canonical joint probability density functions for multivariate distribution completion, so that the developed distribution is to exhibit a sophisticated illustration of yield probability distribution along a cantilever beam whose structure is subjected to a linearly-distributed load. …”

Neuroimaging Characteristics of Pruritus Induced by Eczema: An fMRI Study
Published 2025-03-01“…ABSTRACT Objective To explore the neuroimaging characteristics of eczema‐induced pruritus with resting‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs‐fMRI). Methods A total of 42 patients with eczema were recruited in the PE group, and 42 healthy participants were included in the HC group. …”

The construction of “Taishang zuo-zhe zhuxituan” in mandarin: a Cardiff grammar approach
Published 2025-04-01“…Based on Cardiff Grammar, this paper studies the construction of “Taishang zuo-zhe zhuxituan” (“There is the presidium sitting on the stage”) in Mandarin, aiming to answer three key questions: (i) What Process type and Participant Roles are expressed by the construction? (ii) What is the functional syntactic structure of the construction? …”

Unravelling the transcriptomic symphony of muscle ageing: key pathways and hub genes altered by ageing and caloric restriction in rat muscle revealed by RNA sequencing
Published 2025-01-01“…RNA-seq data were subjected to Gene Ontology, pathway, co-expression, and interaction network analyses. This revealed the functional pathways most activated by both ageing and CR, as well as the key “hub” proteins involved in their activation. …”

Effects of SNX9 on the structure and function of primary cilia in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease
Published 2021-01-01“…Objective To explore the effect and mechanism of SNX9 on primary cilia in autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease(ADPKD)and provide theoretical rationales for seeking intervention targets. Methods The localization of SNX9 in cystic lining epithelium cell line(WT9-12)was observed by immunofluorescence. And the differential expression of SNX9 between normal renal tubular epithelial cell line(RCTEC)and WT9-12 was detected by Western blot. The expression of IFT88 was detected by Western blot and the change of cilia length examined by immunofluorescence. Results SNX9 existed in both cytoplasm and membrane of WT9-12 and its expression was lower than that in RCTEC(P<0.05).When the expression of SNX9 was down-regulated,the expression of IFT88 declined and cilia became shorter(P<0.05).Meanwhile,after the up-regulation of SNX9 by lentivirus, the expression of IFT88 increased and cilia became longer(P<0.01).Conclusions In ADPKD,SNX9 exists in both membrane and cytoplasm of cyst epithelium and its expression is lower than that of normal renal tubular epithelial cell.As a result, the morphology and function of primary cilia become compromised. An up-regulation of SNX9 preserves the function of primary cilia and it may become a new target for ADPKD therapy.…”

Integrated functions of Pax3 and Pax7 in the regulation of proliferation, cell size and myogenic differentiation.
Published 2009-01-01“…Our results show that in muscle progenitor cells, Pax3 and Pax7 function to maintain expression of myogenic regulatory factors, and promote population expansion, but are also required for myogenic differentiation to proceed.…”
