Method and device for three-parameter eddy current control of metal rods
Published 2025-05-01“…Results obtained: the main mathematical expressions were found that link the measured parameters of the primary transducer signal with the information geometric, magnetic and electrical parameters of the controlled metal product; a device and an algorithm for implementing the proposed method were developed, based on finding the frequency of the field of the electromagnetic transducer with a rod, which corresponds to the extremum of its conversion function in the case of compensating for the influence of the air gap between the transducer and the rod; the use of extreme points of the sensor conversion functions with the product when implementing measurements allows achieving the highest sensitivity to the parameters being measured; the developed method and device allow increasing the resolution of the transducer to geometric magnetic and electrical parameters, which are 2%, 5% and 8%, respectively. …”

Differentiating synonyms and adjective subclasses by syntactic profiling
Published 2020-06-01“…Twenty adjectives belonging to five intuitively recognizable semantic families, age (old, young), size (large, small, big), color (black, white, red, yellow, blue), modality (possible, impossible, necessary, likely, sure) and emotion (happy, sad, glad, sorry) were inventoried in a 5-million word corpus tagged for part of speech (POS) and lemma. Regular expressions were used to target specific contextual parameters including syntactic function (adnominal or predicative), determiners, grammatical subject and intensifiers, while manual estimates were obtained from random samples of 500 occurrences per adjective. …”

Capsaicin‐mediated repair of circadian disruption‐induced Intestinal barrier damage via the gut microbiota
Published 2024-11-01“…Abstract Circadian clock serves as a regulator of gastrointestinal health, and the disruption of circadian rhythm may trigger the dysregulation of the intestinal barrier functions. This study investigated the effectiveness of capsaicin (CAP) in mitigating intestinal barrier dysfunction induced by circadian disruption in male SPF C57BL/6J mice. …”
