Energy-efficient cooperative sensing and transmission in relay-assisted cognitive radio network by Li FENG, Yu-jun KUANG, Bin-wei WU, Xin-chuan FU

    Published 2017-05-01
“…An innovative EE-oriented cooperative sensing and transmission scheme in relay-assisted cognitive radio networks, called energy-efficient best-relay cooperative transmission (BCT) was proposed.Based on the BCT scheme, mean energy efficiency (MEE) maximization problem with sensing duration and transmitting power as optimization variables was modeled for fading channels under constraint of minimal secondary outage probability.By virtue of Jensen’s inequality, the original optimization problem was decomposed into two relatively independent subproblems which solved sensing duration and power allocation respectively. And for the two subproblems,an efficient cross iteration based algorithm was proposed to obtain the suboptimal solutions. Both analytical and simulation results demonstrate that the proposals can achieve significantly higher EE while enhancing reliability of secondary transmission remarkably compared to non-cooperation single cognitive transmission schemesin high QoS requirement.…”

A cooperative multicast efficient resource allocation scheme based on limited feedback by Lei CHEN

    Published 2017-10-01
“…A joint subcarrier and power allocation scheme based on limited feedback for cooperative multicast network was proposed to minimize the consumed power under constrain of QoS requirement. The new scheme worked in two steps.Firstly, subcarriers were distributed to different multicast groups with equal rate assumption according to limited feedback information, where fair subcarrier allocation scheme was used to achieve a tradeoff between power and fairness. Then,a cooperative power iterative scheme was adopted to allocate power effectively, where target rate on each subcarrier was computed by water-filling algorithm in the first place and then a power iterate process was implemented to optimize power allocation.Simulation and comparison results show that the new scheme significantly reduces uplink feedback overhear and the required power and the multicast service outage of cooperative scheme is much less than those of the direct scheme.Besides, cooperative power iterative scheme has lower computational complexity and therefore is suitable for practical system.…”

Multi-node cooperative distributed offloading strategy in V2X scenario by Dun CAO, Yingbao ZHANG, Dian ZOU, Jin WANG, Qiang TANG, Baofeng JI

    Published 2022-02-01
“…In order to cope with the dynamic changes of the offloading environment for computing resource-intensive and separable tasks in Internet of vehicle and deal with the problem that different collaborative nodes had different communication and computing resources, a distributed offloading strategy that multiple collaborative nodes had serial offloading mode and parallel computing mode in vehicle to everything (V2X) scenario was proposed.Utilizing the predictable motion trajectories of vehicle, the tasks were split into unequal parts, finally each part was computed on itself, mobile edge server, and vehicles in parallel. Then an optimization problem of the system time delay minimization was established. To solve the optimization problem, an offloading scheme based on the game theory was designed to determine the serial offloading execution order of the cooperative nodes.Considering the dynamic characteristics of Internet of vehicles, a sequential quadratic programming (SQP) algorithm was adopted to optimally split tasks. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed strategy can effectively reduce system delay, and when multiple cooperative nodes offload in parallel, the proposed strategy can still maintain the stable system performance under the different parameter conditions.…”
