Intelligent anti-jamming decision algorithm of bivariate frequency hopping pattern based on ET-PPO by Yibo CHEN, Zhijin ZHAO

    Published 2022-11-01
“…In order to further improve its anti-interference ability in complex electromagnetic environment, a PPO algorithm based on weighted importance sampling and eligibility traces (ET-PPO) was proposed. On the basis of the traditional frequency hopping pattern, time-varying parameters were introduced, and the bivariate frequency hopping pattern decision problem was modeled as a Markov decision problem through the construction of the state-action-reward triple.Aiming at the high variance problem of the sample update method of an actor network of the PPO algorithm, weighted importance sampling was introduced to reduce the variance, and the action selection strategy of Beta distribution was used to enhance the stability of the learning stage.Aiming at the problem of slow convergence speed of the evaluator network, the eligibility trace method was introduced, which better balanced the convergence speed and the global optimal solution. The algorithm comparison simulation results in different electromagnetic interference environments show that ET-PPO has better adaptability and stability, and has better performance against obstruction interference and sweep frequency interference.…”

Research on WSN lifetime optimization game algorithm combined power and channel by Xiaochen HAO, Ning YAO, Lixia XIE, Jiaojiao WANG, Liyuan WANG

    Published 2019-04-01
“…Due to the problem of shortening the network lifetime which was caused by the big energy consumption for wireless sensor network (WSN) whose energy and computing power was limit,a lifetime optimization game algorithm combined power control and channel allocation (LOAPC) was proposed. The influence of node power and residual energy on the node interference was explored to construct an interference affection measurement model. Then, expected transmission times was introduced to establish a novel node lifetime model. Finally,LOAPC aimed at reducing interference and prolonging lifetime, and the node power was limited by an optional power set which ensured the network connectivity and economized energy consumption,so as to prolong the network lifetime effectively. At the same time, the simulation results show that the algorithm has the characteristics of low interference, low energy consumption and effectively prolonging the lifetime of the network.…”

Ultrashort wave satellite channel classification and recognition algorithm based on mirror filled spectrum and LA-ResNet50 by Shang WU, Lei SHEN, Lijun WANG, Ruxu ZHANG, Xin HU

    Published 2023-10-01
“…In response to the classification and identification problems of 5 kHz channels, 25 kHz channels, broadband interference channels, narrowband interference channels, and single tone interference channels in the ultrashort wave frequency band, a classification and identification method for ultrashort wave channels based on mirror filled spectrum and LA-ResNet50 (LBP attention ResNet50) was proposed. The problem of difficulty in distinguishing between satellite channels and background noise under low signal-to-noise ratio, as well as the identification of signal channels and interference channels with similar characteristics, has been effectively solved.Firstly, the proposed method performs mirror symmetry on the ultrashort wave spectrum and fills it in, while blackening the edges of the spectrum to construct a mirror-filled spectrum, which improves the discrimination of different types of channel spectra. Then, channel attention was introduced into ResNet50 to focus the attention of the network model on the channel. Finally, a loss function based on cross entropy and local binary pattern (LBP) was proposed to improve the extraction effect of subtle texture features on signal channels and interference channels images. The proposed method based on mirror-filled spectrum and LA-ResNet50 has shown an improvement of 19.8%, 8.2%, 1.8%, and 0.8% in classification accuracy for ultrashort wave channels compared to the traditional method utilizing fast Fourier transform (FFT) spectrum thresholding, the YOLOv5s target detection and classification method based on mirror-filled spectrum, the Attention-ResNet50 method with attention mechanism based on mirror-filled spectrum, and the Transformer network method under a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 10 dB.…”

Improved LDPC-based short-range frequency-hopping wireless communication system by Wei-dong FANG, Wu-xiong ZHANG, Ming-ming HU, Wei CHEN, Yang YANG

    Published 2017-12-01
“…In short-range wireless communication system(SWCS),the complex scenarios make its transmission face the diverse interference, and lower hardware resource leads to its limited anti-interference capability. To achieve the reliable transmission,a frequency-hopping-based SWCS (FH-SWCS)with improved LDPC (I-LDPC) code was constructed. In FH-SWCS,a low-complexity check-sum updating(LCU)algorithm was proposed to reduce the amount of computation.LCU-based multi-threshold bit flipping (LCU-MTBF) algorithm was given to increase the reliability of bit-flipping, improving decoding performance and reduce the complexity of decoding. The simulation results demonstrate that LCU is suitable for multiple hard decisions decoding algorithm, and it can reduce the computational complexity of original decoding algorithm without affecting its performance. When BER is 10−5,and iterations number is 5,0.15dB performance gain can be achieved, and the number of additions algorithm can be reduced about 40% in LCU-MTBF.In FH-SWCS with I-LDPC,when BER is 10−4,and SNR is 15dB,the performance gain about 7dB can be achieved to improve the anti-interference of the system effectively.…”
