A PLS Approach to Measuring Investor Sentiment in Chinese Stock Market by Gang He, Shuzhen Zhu, Haifeng Gu

    Published 2017-01-01
“…The reason why we do that is to improve the shortcomings of the principal component analysis, which was adopted to build investor sentiment composite index in the pioneering research. Moreover, due to the large proportion of individual investors in Chinese stock market and the rapid change of investor sentiment, we innovatively use the weekly data with smaller information granularity and higher frequency. …”

Compatibility Between OLCI Marine Remote-Sensing Reflectance from Sentinel-3A and -3B in European Waters by Frédéric Mélin, Ilaria Cazzaniga, Pietro Sciuto

    Published 2025-03-01
“…These differences are translated into a rather low level of metrological compatibility between S-3A and S-3B <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><msub><mi>R</mi><mrow><mi>R</mi><mi>S</mi></mrow></msub></semantics></math></inline-formula> data when compared daily. These results suggest that the creation of OLCI climate data records is challenging, but they do not preclude the consistency of time (e.g., monthly) composites, which still needs to be evaluated.…”

齿轮传动系统随机误差可靠性评估方法 by 李昌, 韩兴, 宋华, 马小刚

    Published 2014-01-01
“…The effective evaluation of gear drive system is a key job for realizing the system dynamic optimum design.Firstly, combining the advantages of the Pro/E and ADAMS programming techniques, aparametric virtual test model for the gear drive system is built and the dynamic characteristic curve and data of each part are obtained.Secondly,by using Monte Carlo method,apseudo-random number generating sub-routine is written to simulate the distribution of the drive system different random errors.Considering the composite effects of the errors,a simulation is implemented and mass system dynamic characteristic data are obtained.Lastly, statistics these data in VC++software, the gear drive system reliability is calculated and the reliability evaluation of the dynamic characteristic under the influence of random error of gear drive system is carried out. This method is simplicity, convenience and high accuracy and with no need for building and solving complicated mathematical model.…”
