Fokker-Planck Central Moment Lattice Boltzmann Method for Effective Simulations of Fluid Dynamics
Published 2024-10-01“…This can be interpreted as a new path for the collision process in terms of the relaxation of the various central moments to “equilibria”, which we term as the Markovian central moment attractors that depend on the products of the adjacent lower order moments and a diffusion coefficient tensor, thereby involving of a chain of attractors; effectively, the latter are nonlinear functions of not only the hydrodynamic variables, but also the non-conserved moments; the relaxation rates are based on scaling the drift coefficient by the order of the moment involved. …”

A Fractional Time–Space Stochastic Advection–Diffusion Equation for Modeling Atmospheric Moisture Transport at Ocean–Atmosphere Interfaces
Published 2025-03-01“…The framework employs the Caputo fractional derivative to represent temporal persistence and the fractional Laplacian to model non-local turbulent diffusion, and incorporates a stochastic term with a <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mn>1</mn><mo>/</mo><mi>f</mi></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> power spectral density to simulate environmental variability. An efficient numerical solution methodology is derived utilizing complementary Fourier and Laplace transforms, which elegantly converts spatial fractional operators into algebraic expressions and yields closed-form solutions via Mittag–Leffler functions. …”

ANALYSIS AND OPTIMIZATION OF QUICK-RETURN CHARACTERISTICS OF THE BEATING⁃UP SLEY BASED ON MULTIVARIABLE DESIGN
Published 2024-10-01“…For improving the quick‑return characteristics of the sley movement,an optimal mathematical model for maximum curve displacement Sm of the connectingarm pin was proposed through beating‑up principle analysis and mechanism deduction.A multivariable design space was constructed by use of the component length(lc,lh,lr,lf)and crankangleα.The parametric functional model development of the four‑bar beating‑up with short connecting rod was realized, and its kinematic posture and centroid trajectory were analyzed and verified through mechanism simulation. The results of the case study indicate that the variable lc andαhave more greater influence on the sensitivity of the objective function F(X),and multivariable(DV_1,DV_2,DV_3)coupling can effectively enhance the design plasticity of the quick‑return characteristics of the sley. When the maximum curve displacement Sm of the connectingarm pin increases to 71.41 mm,the extreme position angleθand the travel speed ratio coefficient K are increased by 10.96°and 0.131 respectively, and the quick-return motion effect of the sley is obviously improved. The optimization results accord with the conditions of rod length and mechanism transmission requirement, which are conductive to the design innovation and performance improvement of the four‑bar beating‑up system.…”
