Daily Runoff Prediction Model Based on Multivariate Variational Mode Decomposition and Correlation Reconstruction by DING Jie, TU Peng-fei, FENG Yu, ZENG Huai-en

    Published 2025-05-01
“…Finally, the integrated prediction combining fluctuation and random terms under condition 5 yielded R2 of 0.87 and 0.93 for the overall prediction at Ankang and Baihe stations, respectively, demonstrating excellent model performance. [Conclusions](1) The MVMD decomposition method can control the number of decomposition layers, ensuring complete signal feature extraction without overfitting while improving processing speed.(2) Pearson correlation coefficient method enhances prediction accuracy through decomposed data classification.(3) The MEA-BP can improve signal-to-noise ratio, adapt to complex environments, enhance learning efficiency and generalization ability, and reduce computational complexity.(4) The GWO-ELM algorithm integrates grey wolf optimizer with extreme learning machine, providing a fast and adaptive solution for time-series prediction with reduced overfitting and improved efficiency.(5) The overall combined model can efficiently and stably process large amount of data while ensuring high accuracy.…”

Modelling of vibration-damping properties of elastic-viscoplastic layers of the roadbed. Problem statement 1 by V. M. Bel’Kov

    Published 2017-06-01
“…When analyzing the interaction between the car and the railway, typically the Kelvin - Voigt body is used and the roadbed is represented as a certain adjusted concentrated mass participating in vibrations with sleepers and rails. But this model is inapplicable for layered systems that do not have, in principle, concentrated masses. …”

Characterization of bi-layers formed over maraging steel 300 during aging process with steam atmosphere by GIXRD and SEM by Vanessa Sanches Pereira da Silva, José Roberto Ferreira Neto, Silvia Lucas Ferreira da Silva, Diogo Costa de Oliveira, Fábio de Camargo

    Published 2021-04-01
“…This work aims to use grazing incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXRD) to evaluate qualitatively the thickness of the layers formed during this process. GIXRD and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were employed to identify and order the layered structure formed on four specimens of maraging steel grade 300 with different surface finishes that were previously solution annealed twice at (950 ± 5) °C for 1 h, air-cooled, and submitted to oxidation process under positive pressure around 1.5 kPa of steam at (480 ± 5) °C for 6 h followed by forced air cooling. …”
