EXPERIMENTALLY-STATISTICAL MODEL OF CLADDING LAYER FORMATION PROCESS ON SLIDE-WAYS by N. N. Maksimchenko

    Published 2010-04-01
“…The developed experimentally-statistical model of the cladding composite layer formation process on slide-ways allows to operate technological modes of cladding by flexible instrument (CFI) in order to obtain the set properties of a coating (thickness, continuity, adhesion strength). The established optimum technological modes of CFI process providing formation of continuous, strongly adhered to a basis composite coatings of the required thickness have been used for applying coatings on working surfaces of slide-ways of metal-cutting machine tool beds that has allowed to lower friction factor in coupling on the average by 1.3–1.7-fold and to improve uniformity of slow moving of machine tool units by 1.74-fold in comparison with slide-ways without a coating.…”

Model Test Study of Rainfall Factors on Failure Process of Xiashu Loess Slope with Gravel Layer by Yanran Hu, Shaorui Sun, Yuyong Sun

    Published 2024-01-01
“…Rainfall is an important factor affecting the stability of Xiashu loess slope, so it is particularly important to understand the infiltration law and induction process of rainfall in Xiashu loess slope. In this paper, a Xiashu loess slope model with a slope ratio of 1 : 1.2 is constructed in the model box. …”

Construction Method of CNC Machine Tool Digital Twin Model Based on the Four-Layer Framework by Fengye Pei, Suifan Chen, Qipeng Li, Shixiong Guo, Yuyuan Xi, Pengju Huang

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Computer numerical control (CNC) machine tool as an important equipment of intelligent manufacturing, due to its complex structure and complicated working conditions, DT technology is troubled by model consistency in application. To construct the DT model more effectively and accurately, a four-layer modeling framework is proposed based on the working characteristics of CNC machine tools, including requirement layer, representation layer, interaction layer and implementation layer. …”

Influence of Fissure Number on the Mechanical Properties of Layer-Crack Rock Models under Uniaxial Compression by Yun-liang Tan, Wei-yao Guo, Tong-bin Zhao, Feng-hai Yu, Bin Huang, Dong-mei Huang

    Published 2018-01-01
“…The digital speckle correlation method (DSCM) and acoustic emission (AE) techniques were applied to record and analyze the information of deformation and failure processes. Test results show the following: the bearing capacity of layer-crack specimen decreases compared with intact specimen, but their failure modes are similar, which are the splitting failure accompanied with local shear failure; the nonuniform deformation phenomenon begins to appear at the elastic deformation stage for layer-crack specimens; the AE behavior of intact specimens consists of three stages, that is, active stage, quiet stage, and major active stage, but for layer-crack specimens, it is characteristic by three peaks without quiet stage. …”
