Differential Protection of Transmission Transformer for Large-Scale Doubly-Fed Wind Farms Based on Detrended Analysis by Yanchun XU, Zhongyao FAN, Sihan SUN, Lu MI

    Published 2023-07-01
“…Since the fault current output from the doubly-fed wind farm has frequency deviation characteristics and contains large harmonic components, when an internal fault occurs in the transmission transformer for the doubly-fed wind farm, the ratio of the second harmonic to the fundamental wave in the differential current of the transformer increases, which makes the differential protection of the transformer face the risk of delay action. …”

Realist evaluation of Autism ServiCe Delivery (RE-ASCeD): which diagnostic pathways work best, for whom and in what context? Findings from a rapid realist review by Patricia M Wilson, Venkat Reddy, Ian Male, William Farr, Jeremy Parr, Vanessa Abrahamson, Wenjing Zhang, Anna Peckham

    Published 2021-12-01
“…Objectives Waiting times in the UK for an autism diagnostic assessment have increased rapidly in the last 5 years. This review explored research (including ‘grey’ literature) to uncover the current evidence base about autism diagnostic pathways and what works best, for whom and in what circumstances, to deliver high quality and timely diagnosis.Design We performed a Rapid Realist Review consistent with recognised standards for realist syntheses. …”

De la stabilité des sites ornés de rivière en contexte tropical lors d’événements pluviométriques majeurs : Le cas de la tempête Fiona en Guadeloupe by Julien Monney, Johan Berthet, Pascal Mora

    Published 2024-12-01
“…This article addresses the impact of extreme weather events on rock art sites located along rivers in humid tropical contexts. Drawing on archaeological and hydrogeomorphological observations made in Guadeloupe following the passage of Tropical Storm Fiona in September 2022, we provide an analysis of the modifications caused by the floods and discuss the implications for the current spatial distribution of engraved rocks in the landscape, as well as their vulnerability/stability in the face of the recurrence of such climatic hazards. The results reveal highly variable consequences depending on the sites, with their nature and extent depending on the location of the rock art sites in relation to precipitation distribution, their position within the hydrographic network (terraces, active bed, transit zone, flood zone), and the maturity of the latter. …”

Coronary Artery-Bypass-Graft Surgery Increases the Plasma Concentration of Exosomes Carrying a Cargo of Cardiac MicroRNAs: An Example of Exosome Trafficking Out of the Human Heart... by Costanza Emanueli, Andrew I U Shearn, Abas Laftah, Francesca Fiorentino, Barnaby C Reeves, Cristina Beltrami, Andrew Mumford, Aled Clayton, Mark Gurney, Saran Shantikumar, Gianni D Angelini

    Published 2016-01-01
“…Working on clinical samples from coronary-artery by-pass graft (CABG) surgery, we investigated if: 1) exosomes containing cardiac miRs and hence putatively released by cardiac cells increase in the circulation after surgery; 2) circulating exosomes and exosomal cardiac miRs correlate with cardiac troponin (cTn), the current "gold standard" surrogate biomarker of myocardial damage.…”
