De la stabilité des sites ornés de rivière en contexte tropical lors d’événements pluviométriques majeurs : Le cas de la tempête Fiona en Guadeloupe
Published 2024-12-01“…This article addresses the impact of extreme weather events on rock art sites located along rivers in humid tropical contexts. Drawing on archaeological and hydrogeomorphological observations made in Guadeloupe following the passage of Tropical Storm Fiona in September 2022, we provide an analysis of the modifications caused by the floods and discuss the implications for the current spatial distribution of engraved rocks in the landscape, as well as their vulnerability/stability in the face of the recurrence of such climatic hazards. The results reveal highly variable consequences depending on the sites, with their nature and extent depending on the location of the rock art sites in relation to precipitation distribution, their position within the hydrographic network (terraces, active bed, transit zone, flood zone), and the maturity of the latter. …”

Calculation Model for Adhesion Resistance in Differential Pressure Sticking of Downhole String
Published 2025-06-01“…Differential pressure sticking is one of the main causes for significantly increased non-production time and cost. The existing research on differential pressure sticking often relies on empirical summaries of field da-ta or laboratory tests, while the current theoretical model research also fails to consider the stress on pipe string, wellbore condition and mud cake strength. In this paper, considering the length, force and area of contact between the pipe string and the wellbore wall,a calculation model for the adhesion resistance in differential pressure stick-ing of downhole string was built. Then, the model was used for sensitivity analysis on the axial force of the string, the wellbore parameters(well diameter, hole angle, dogleg) and the mud cake parameters(mud cake thickness, elastic modulus,Poisson’s ratio, permeability),to understand how these factors affect the adhesion resistance. Finally, the model was verified through example application. The results show that for the axial force of the string, the adhesion resistance decreases with the increase of tension and increases with the increase of pressure. For the main wellbore parameters, the adhesion resistance decreases with the increase of well diameter and increases with the increase of hole angle and dogleg. For the main mud cake parameters, the adhesion resistance decreases with the increase of the elastic modulus of the mud cake, slightly decreases with the increase of the Poisson’s ratio of the mud cake, and first increases and then tends to be smooth with the increase of the mud cake permeability; and the maximum adhesion resistance increases with the increase of the mud cake thickness. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the further research on differential pressure sticking and a theoretical guidance for the field pre-vention of sticking accidents.…”

EXPLOITATIVE DESTRUCTION FEATURES FOR DETONATION ULTRADISPERSED DIAMONDS OF INITIAL METALLIC PROTECTION FOR ABRASIVE POWDER GRAINS TO DIAMOND-SPARK GRINDING TOOLS
Published 2015-05-01“…One problem is that the presence of detonation ultra-dispersed diamonds in the grain metal coating of diamond powders not only improves the coating functional reliability in protection from destruction in the subsequent pressing and sintering in the production tool, but also resistance of such coating to the opening of the diamond cutting basis of the grains on the grinding wheel working surface that come into working contact with the material being processed. An analysis of the features of an effective exploitative destruction of detonation ultra-dispersed diamonds in the metal coating using electric current in the tool of the diamondspark grinding processes is presented.…”
