MOCVD ZnO/Screen Printed Ag Back Reflector for Flexible Thin Film Silicon Solar Cell Application by Amornrat Limmanee, Patipan Krudtad, Sasiwimon Songtrai, Suttinan Jaroensathainchok, Taweewat Krajangsang, Jaran Sritharathikhun, Kobsak Sriprapha

    Published 2014-01-01
“…A discontinuity and poor contact interface between the MOCVD ZnO and screen printed Ag layers caused poor open circuit voltage (Voc) and low fill factor (FF); however, an insertion of a thin sputtered ZnO layer at the interface could solve this problem. The n type hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) film is preferable for the deposition on the surface of MOCVD ZnO film rather than the microcrystalline film due to its less sensitivity to textured surface, and this allowed an improvement in the FF. …”

Electrosynthesis of ethylene glycol from biomass glycerol by Haoyuan Chi, Zhanpeng Liang, Siyu Kuang, Yaxin Jin, Minglu Li, Tianxiang Yan, Jianlong Lin, Shuangyin Wang, Sheng Zhang, Xinbin Ma

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Experimental and theoretical studies reveal that metallic Cu catalyst facilitates the C=O activation, promoting glycolaldehyde hydrogenation into ethylene glycol. We further assemble a zero-gap electrolyzer and demonstrate ethylene glycol electrosynthesis from glycerol to give a decent production rate of 1.32 mmol cm–2 h–1 under a 3.48 V cell voltage. …”
