Computing native network (CNN) technology and application driven by joint communication & computing (JC&C) by Jie SUN, Leiming MA, Aidong YANG, Xiaozhou YE, Peng LYU, Zhigang WANG, Ye OUYANG

    Published 2023-08-01
“…The global telecom industry is carrying out research and exploration of potential 6G technical architectures and key techs, of which it has become a consensus in the industry to further realize the vision of 6G smart inclusion by better enabling all new 6G network technologies and services through joint communication & computing (JC&C).Therefore, how to realize the deep integration and real-time collaboration of communication and computing to meet the needs of ultra-low latency and real-time response of new services in dynamic and complex network environments has become the challenge and key of JC&C.A computing native network (CNN) driven by JC&C was proposed, which realized the decoupling of communication and computing of base station or multiple base stations, computing pooling and intelligent JC&C scheduling through computing time division multiplexing and intelligent JC&C scheduling, thus realizing the base station to support communication and computation services simultaneously. The technology has been technically verified and piloted, and the experimental and pilot results demonstrate that CNN can effectively improve the computing utilization rate of wireless networks and realize the base station to support communication and computing services simultaneously, facilitating the evolution of 6G JC&C.…”

Study on the reliability of hypergraphs based on non-backtracking matrix centrality by Hao PENG, Cheng QIAN, Dandan ZHAO, Ming ZHONG, Jianmin HAN, Ziyi XIE, Wei WANG

    Published 2024-02-01
“…In recent years, there has been widespread attention on hypergraphs as a research hotspot in network science. The unique structure of hypergraphs, which differs from traditional graphs, is characterized by hyperedges that can connect multiple nodes simultaneously, resulting in more complex and higher-order relationships.Effectively identifying important nodes and hyperedges in such network structures poses a key challenge.Eigenvector centrality, a common metric, has limitations in its application due to its locality when dealing with hub nodes with extremely high degree values in the network. To address this issue, the hypergraphs were transformed into their corresponding line graphs, and non-backtracking matrix centrality was employed as a method to measure the importance of hyperedges. This approach demonstrated better uniformity and differentiation in assessing the importance of hyperedges.Furthermore, the application of both eigenvector centrality and non-backtracking matrix centrality in assessing the importance of nodes in hypergraphs was explored.Comparative analysis revealed that non-backtracking matrix centrality effectively distinguished the importance of nodes. This research encompassed theoretical analysis, model construction, and empirical studies on real-world data.To validate the proposed method and conclusion, six real-world hypergraphs were selected as experimental subjects. The application of these methods to these hypergraphs confirmed the effectiveness of non-backtracking matrix centrality in identifying important nodes and hyperedges. The findings of this research offer a fresh perspective and approach for identifying key elements in hypergraphs, holding significant theoretical and practical implications for understanding and analyzing complex network systems.…”

    Published 2013-05-01
“…In the present workwe representthe complex network of interactions between cells and molecules by a mathematical model. The model describes the behaviors of cells (Th0, Th1, Th2 and macrophages)and regulatory molecules (IFN-$\gamma$, IL-4, IL-12, TNF-α) in response tohigh, intermediate, and low levels of LPS.The simulations show howvariations in the levels of injected LPSaffect the development ofTh1 or Th2 cell responses through differential cytokine induction. The model also predicts the coexistence ofthese two types of responseunder certain biochemical and biomechanical conditions in the microenvironment.…”
