Balancing the Potential Gauging Process Applied to Wave Propagation for Arbitrary Space-Times
Published 2025-01-01“…In this regard, appropriate changes of the metric are suitable since the choice of gauge is closely related to the space-time of a model. For this purpose, only the metric tensor of affected potential components is modified throughout this work. …”

The Specific Features of the Contemporary Russian Foreign Energy Policy Shift in Modern Times
Published 2015-04-01“…The current political crisis in Europe, which is caused by accession of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian Federation and events in Ukraine, has aggravated long-standing problems of energy partnership EU-Russia. At the same time active EU policy on diversification of energy sources and supply routes discredits peculiar role of Russia as EU key energy supplier. …”

Crimean-Ottoman Factor in the Socio-Cultural System of Russia in Early Modern Times
Published 2020-11-01“…Questions were raised about the reasons for the rapid territorial expansion of the Russian state in the second half of the 15-17 centuries, as well as its high competitiveness in foreign policy both in relations with its western neighbors and in the eastern direction. For the states of Western Europe with the beginning of their modernization, modern age has come, however “Muscovy” in the 15-17 centuries remained a medieval country. At the same time, it not only did not share the fate of many eastern powers with a traditional way, which turned into the 17th-19th centuries in the colony and semi-colony, but also, on the contrary, it led a successful colonial expansion and demonstrated externally the almost synchronous trends in state building that were inherent in the Western European countries. The author believes that the patrimonial structure of the sociocultural system of the Russian state in the 15-17 centuries contributed to the mobilization of internal material and human resources, coupled with an early superficial “Europeanization” (regular borrowing the military, technical, and cultural experience of modernizing Western Europe), ensured Russia's competitiveness in the world. …”

Effects of Different Harvest Times on Nutritional Component of Herbaceous Peony Flower Petals
Published 2020-01-01“…In this study, petals of three herbaceous peony cultivars including “Dafugui,” “Hongyan Zhenghui,” and “Yangfei Chuyu” at four different development stages were used as materials to measure the content of soluble sugar, organic acid, protein, vitamin C (Vc), total phenolics, total flavonoids, mineral elements, and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, with the aim to understand the variation tendency of the nutritional ingredients and bioactive components in herbaceous peony flower petals during development and to determine the optimal harvest time for herbaceous peony flowers with better edible qualities. …”

Human response times are governed by dual anticipatory processes with distinct neural signatures
Published 2025-01-01“…Participants showed two forms of anticipatory response biases, distinguished by more premature false alarms (FAs) or faster response times (RTs) on long-delay trials. These biases had distinct neural signatures in prestimulus neural activity modulations that were distributed and intermixed across the brain: the FA bias was most evident in preparatory motor activity immediately prior to response-cue presentation, whereas the RT bias was most evident in visuospatial activity at the beginning of the foreperiod. …”
