Research on throughput maximization for intelligent reflecting surface assisted dual-hop relay wireless powered communication network
Published 2022-09-01“…To improve the energy and information transmission efficiency of relay-based wireless powered communication network (WPCN), a two intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) assisted dual-hop relay wireless transmission scheme was proposed. In particular, IRS1 and IRS2 were deployed between the base station (BS) and hybrid relay node (HRN), and between the HRN and users, respectively, which could improve the efficiency of energy transfer from the HRN to users, data transmission from users to the HRN and data forwarding from HRN to BS.To maximize the system throughput, an optimization problem was formulated, where the time scheduling of energy, information transmission and forwarding, the phase shifts of IRS, and the delivered power of users were jointly optimized. To address non-convexity of the formulated problem, an efficient alternating optimization algorithm was proposed and the sub-optimal solution was obtained. In addition, the convergence and computational complexity of the proposed algorithm were analyzed.Numerical results verify that IRS can effectively improve the throughput of WPCN based on relay. In addition, compared to the benchmark schemes, the proposed optimal transmission scheme can significantly improve the system performance in terms of throughput.…”

Survey of network-layer anonymous communication protocols
Published 2020-02-01“…An anonymous communication system is an overlay network built on the application layer and combining various privacy protection technologies such as data forwarding, content encryption, and traffic obfuscation to hide communication relationships between entities and forwarded contents. However, there is a deficiency in the balance between performance and security as an anonymous communication system operating over an overlay network. With the advance of the future internet architectures,it is possible to build an infrastructure-based anonymous communication system.Such anonymous communication systems design anonymity as network infrastructure services and provide encryption operations for routers, which can solve the part problem of scalability and performance limitations of anonymous network. They can also be called network-layer anonymous communication protocols. The existing network-layer anonymous communication protocols (LAP,Dovetail,Hornet,PHI and Taranet) were studied. The classification standard of network-layer anonymous communication protocols were introduced. Its innovation point and specific encryption ideas were briefly described, and how to keep balance between security and performance was analyzed. The shortcomings and advantages of these kinds of network anonymous communication protocols were also pointed out. Finally, the challenges faced in the development of anonymous communication systems and the problems that need to be studied in depth were proposed.…”

Robust and Energy-Efficient Data Gathering in Wireless Sensor Network
Published 2014-10-01“…Unfortunately, if one node in the chain is failed due to some reasons such as energy exhaust, then the information cannot be forwarded to the sink. To improve system robustness and balance the energy consumption, this paper proposes a robust and energy-efficient data gathering (REEDG) approach, which is an improvement over the chain-based and grid-based network structures, in sensor information collecting system. …”

Dynamic cache allocation routing strategy of Internet of things satellite node based on traffic prediction
Published 2020-02-01“…Aiming at the routing problem of low earth orbit (LEO) Internet of things (IoT) satellite systems,a dynamic cache allocation routing strategy based on traffic prediction for IoT satellite nodes was proposed.Firstly, the space-time characteristics of traffic distribution in the LEO coverage area were analyzed, and an end-to-end traffic prediction model was proposed. Then, according to the traffic prediction result,a dynamic cache allocation routing strategy was proposed. The satellite node periodically monitored the traffic load of the inter-satellite link, dynamically allocated the cache resources of each inter-satellite link between the neighboring nodes. The cache allocation process was divided into two phases, initialization and system operation. At the same time, the traffic offload and packet forwarding strategy when the node was congested was proposed.By comparing the queuing delay and the forwarding delay,it was determined whether the data packet needs to be rerouted. The simulation results show that the proposed routing strategy effectively reduces the packet loss rate and average end-to-end delay, and improves the traffic distribution in the whole network.…”

Efficient routing strategy of blockchain-based payment channel network
Published 2021-06-01“…In order to solve the problems of the low transaction success rate and network imbalance of the payment channel network, an efficient routing strategy of blockchain-based payment channel network was proposed. This strategy established a dedicated payment channel for the high-priority services according to the service type and service priority, and divided the conventional business into multiple transaction unit.Furthermore, a channel balanced routing algorithm was designed to route each transaction unit, which could reduce the number of transactions on the blockchain and maintain long-term stable operation of the off-chain payment channel, as well as improve the transaction success rate.In addition, in order to avoid the temporary shortage of funds and unavailability of channels due to a certain link occupied by multiple transactions simultaneously, a transaction queuing mechanism in the payment channel network was designed. This mechanism established the forwarding rules for transactions by calculating the escrow amount between the node that transactions arrived and the next hop node, where the channel balanced routing algorithm was used to calculate the new forwarding path for the nodes that could not carry out capital injection within the queuing threshold. The simulation results show that the proposed strategy could improve the transaction success rate and realize the equilibrium of the payment channel network.…”
