    “…يتناول البحث تحليل الإنتاج الفكري للأطباء المصريين وغيرهم من العلماء والمتخصصين في العلوم الطبية، والمُكشف بقاعدة بيانات PubMed عبر ثلاثة قرون "منذ عام 1847 حتى سبتمبر "2022، استنادًا إلى «PubMed»، وهي واحدة من أكبر قواعد البيانات في العلوم الطبية في العالم، يتمثل نطاق هذه الدراسة الببليومترية للبيانات الضخمة في تحليل أنماط هذه المنشورات، بناءً على: الموضوعات وعناوين المجلات والمؤلفين والانتماء الأكاديمي وبلد النشر وما إلى ذلك، وسنقدم نتائج أكثر من 110 ألف مساهمة ككل.تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تقديم صورة حقيقية للإنتاج الفكري للأطباء المصريين فيما يقرب من 170 عامًا من المساهمات البحثية في المجال الطبي والمجالات ذات الصلة، تم تقسيم فترة هذه الدراسة إلى سبع فترات فرعية وتوصلت الدراسة إلي مجموعة من النتائج، أبرزها أن الفترة الفرعية الأخيرة من الدراسة من 2003 إلى سبتمبر 2022 كانت أكثر فترات الدراسة إنتاجية للبحث العلمي الطبي بعدد 103000 بحث علمي، كانت غالبية الإنتاج الفكري على مدار الدراسة باللغة الإنجليزية، وساهمت العديد من الهيئات والمؤسسات الأكاديمية في الإنتاج الفكري للأطباء المصريين، وساهمت العديد من البلدان في نشر البحث العلمي للأطباء المصريين المفهرس في قاعدة بيانات PubMed. …”
