ALDH2 Overexpression Alleviates High Glucose-Induced Cardiotoxicity by Inhibiting NLRP3 Inflammasome Activation
Published 2019-01-01“…Mitochondrial ALDH2 overexpression cardiac cell line was constructed. The results showed in high glucose condition that ALDH2 overexpression significantly increased H9C2 cardiac cell viability, increased mitochondrial ALDH2 activity and protein expression, and reduced mitochondrial reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE), and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels; meanwhile, the pyroptosis key components—NLRP3 inflammasome-related proteins, apoptosis-associated speck-like protein containing a caspase recruitment domain (ASC), cysteine-containing aspartate specific protease 1 (Caspase-1), and interleukin-18 (IL-18) protein expressions—were significantly decreased, and IL-18 and interleukin-1β (IL-1β) levels were also decreased. …”

High-Fat Mouse Model to Explore the Relationship between Abnormal Lipid Metabolism and Enolase in Pancreatic Cancer
Published 2023-01-01“…We constructed a high-lipid model of pancreatic carcinoma cell lines and knockdown and overexpressed enolase in pancreatic carcinoma cell lines and investigated whether high lipid regulates epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) by upregulating enolase (ENO), thereby promoting the cells of pancreatic carcinoma to invade and migrate. …”

Stochastic Risk Assessment with a Lagrangian Solution for the Optimal Cost Allocation in High-Speed Rail Networks
Published 2020-01-01“…Inspired by the theoretical risk evaluation methods in the complex network, three major factors, including the local effects, global effects, and component self-effects are considered in the process of assessing the impact on the network components (nodes or lines). By introducing the component failure occurrence probability, which is considered to be an exponential function changing with the component maintenance costs, a feasible stochastic risk assessment model of the HSRNs together with the component impact assessment is proposed that can better unify the impact assessment of both the high-speed rail stations and railways. …”

Mechanism of Roadway Floor Heave Controlled by Floor Corner Pile in Deep Roadway under High Horizontal Stress
Published 2021-01-01“…Through numerical analysis and similar model tests, the deformation and stress distribution of surrounding rock under the support of the corner piles are studied, and the force law of the pile under high horizontal stress is analyzed. The results show that, compared with the floor corner anchor, the floor corner pile + floor grouting support scheme can significantly improve the mechanical properties of the floor rock mass, and the plastic slip line of the floor plate part can be cut by corner piles, which effectively controls the deformation of the floor plate under high horizontal stress; the length and inclination angle of the corner pile have a great influence on the support effect. …”
