Among the effects of soil erosion in Ikumba sub county, 26.8% of the respondents revealed that soil erosion leads to loss of soil fertility, 32.3% of the respondents said that soil erosion leads to famine, 16.1% of respondents revealed that soil erosion results into destruction of human settlement and swamps as reported by 10.7% of the respondents and 6.4% of the respondents reported disease outbreak from eroded waste material.…”
