EXTRACORPOREAL RENAL SURGERY (LITERATURE REVIEW) by R. I. Rasulov, V. V. Dvornichenko, A. A. Muratov

    Published 2017-07-01
Subjects: “…currently, along with the development of gravity blood surgery and transplantation, nephron-sparing surgery has become an established surgical treatment, particularly in situations in which preservation of renal parenchyma is critical. nephron-sparing surgery includes kidney removal, different kinds of ablation, in vivo and ex vivo surgeries on the renal parenchyma and renal vascular peduncle. this review demonstrates historical experience in surgical treatment of unconventional clinical cases in urgent and plan urology, vascular surgery, and oncology, as well as evolution from traditional nephrectomy to extracorporeal renal surgery. the technique of ex vivo renal surgery is described. our own experience of performing surgeries for non organ retroperitoneal tumors has been also shown.…”

DIFFUSIVELY ALLOYED COMPOUNDS MADE OF METAL DISCARD WITH A REDUCED MELTING TEMPERATURE FOR OBTAINING WEAR RESISTANT COATINGS USING INDUCTION HARD-FACING TECHNOLOGIES by V. G. Shcherbakou

    Published 2017-01-01
Subjects: “…the technology of obtaining diffusion doped alloys made from metal scrap is reviewed in the article. the influence of short term preprocessing at high temperature on structure formation by concentrated energy sources within the further induction deposit is reviewed. a mechanism of a contact eutectic melting in diffusion doped alloys at short term high temperature treatment is described and suggested in this work. it was shown that such kind of processing of diffusion doped alloys is a perspective way of treatment when using induction hard-facing technologies for obtaining wear resistant coatings. a resource and energy saving technology was developed for obtaining wear resistant coatings based on diffusion doped alloys from metal scrap treated using induction hard-facing process…”

Development of basic requirements for an automated heat treatment site of a ring‑rolling complex by V. E. Antonyuk, S. G. Sandomirski, S. O. Nikiforovich, V. V. Rudyi, N. P. Timoshenko

    Published 2022-05-01
Subjects: “…thermal furnaces and auxiliary equipment for the main thermal treatments (normalization, annealing, isothermal annealing, improvement) are considered, to which products must be subjected after ring rolling to create mechanical properties and structures in annular workpieces that improve the machinability by cutting. the basic requirements for thermal furnaces optimal for an automated section of heat treatment of annular blanks after ring rolling have been developed. it is shown that to perform all the specified types of heat treatment, it is advisable to use the same type of thermal equipment that has the same overhaul life and service life. this makes it possible to stop the automated line at the same time and simultaneously provide service for all components of the line. the use of shaft furnaces for heat treatment in an automated heat treatment line is not appropriate, since there is practically no experience of embedding them in such lines.…”

    Published 2023-01-01
Subjects: “…at the municipal level and the overload of the strategic planning system of inferior quality documents. the primary task of the study is to determine the fundamental ways to resolve systemic and tactical problems. separately, the authors highlight an importance of introducing the public authority legal category that is going to synchronize strategies of all its levels in the future. based on the analysis of the internal logic of the development of a strategic planning and management system, as well as the best practices of foreign experience, the authors conclude that the state system of strategic audit. according to the results of the study, this system is inadequate to the tasks of effective implementation of the state strategy. also, the authors concluded the need for digitalization of strategic planning to reconstruct existing connections, methods of interaction and the use of new, informational analysis methods. the practical significance of the research is determined by the possibility of applying the authors’ recommendations being in the normative regulation of the process of domestic strategic planning and management. keywords: strategic planning…”

ROLE OF THE STRUCTURAL FACTOR IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF HIGH-RADON GROUNDWATER IN THE SOUTHWESTERN FLANK OF THE SOUTH BAIKAL RIFT BASIN by K. Zh. Seminsky, Yu. P. Burzunova, A. K. Seminsky, A. A. Bobrov

    Published 2017-12-01
Subjects: “…this article discusses the distribution patterns of high-radon groundwater at the southwestern shore of lake baikal. this region is a flank of the south baikal rift basin, characterized by high geodynamic activity and complex fault patterns, without any special geochemical conditions with regard to the content of uranium in the rocks. based on our observations and measurements, we consolidated the first massive database on radon volume activity (q) in a variety of local water sources. in the kultuk–vydrino area, the q values vary from zero to 81.1 bq/l, according to the analysis of the water samples from 93 springs, lakes, small streams, wells, and drilled holes. the highest concentrations of radon are discovered in the groundwater samples. such values are unevenly scattered across the study area. the chain of the maximum q values trends northwestwards along the lake baikal shore. this distribution pattern of radon, as well as the locations of individual water sources with q>15 bq/l are predetermined by the structural factor. the paragenetic analysis of faults and joints in the kultuk–vydrino area shows that this factor includes both the structure and stages in the development of the regional largest main sayan fault zone (the southwestern flank of the south baikal basin is a segment of this zone). the water sources with increased concentrations of radon are located in zones with a high density of the 2nd order faults, especially on sites wherein the nw-striking faults cross the transverse faults that have experienced repeated activation. temperature t is an additional factor influencing the degree of radioactivity in water. a relationship between t and q is reverse. water sources with q>15 bq/l associated with the 2nd order fault zones may occur also due to a locally lower temperature of groundwater. our study gives evidence that the southwestern coast of lake baikal is promising for finding high-radon water sources. using such water in balneo¬logy can become a valuable contribution to the tourism and recreational potential of the region. this prospect is especially important for the town of baikalsk that is now developing without its township-forming enterprise: the notorious pulp-and-paper mill has been completely shut down.…”
