L’autre scène dans The Three Birds de Joanna Laurens (2000) : enjeux dramatiques de la réécriture d’un mythe by Solange Ayache

    Published 2015-04-01
“…I propose to study how the Other comes to be inscribed at the core of language where it takes shape, rendering it delirious (Deleuze), as humanity can be traced in the Barbarian and barbarism can in turn affect humanity beyond the figure of the Thracian. As the act and language of love are turned into linguistic abuse and physical rape, Laurens’ formal experimentations, where language and the Other of language meet at the crossroad of their own contradictions, allow for a renewal in the meaning of the Greek myth as well as in the dramatic language on the British stage at the start of the twenty-first century.…”

Depletion of key gut bacteria predicts disrupted bile acid metabolism in inflammatory bowel disease by Daniel Peterson, Christopher Weidenmaier, Sonia Timberlake, Rotem Gura Sadovsky

    Published 2025-02-01
“…These un-isolated clades of BA-transforming bacteria merit further research; as beyond their prevalence in the human population, we found some cases in which they engrafted in IBD patients who had undergone fecal microbiota transplantation and experienced a clinical response.IMPORTANCEIn this paper, we identify specific bacteria that perform an important metabolic function in the human gut and demonstrate that in the guts of a large subset of patients with IBD, these bacteria are missing and the function is defective. …”

Endophytic strategies decoded by genome and transcriptome analysis of Fusarium nematophilum strain NQ8GII4 by Siyuan Yan, Qingchen Zhang, Shuxin Jia, Miaomiao Guo, Qiangqiang Zhang, Peiwen Gu, Peiwen Gu

    Published 2025-01-01
“…Homologs of autophagy-related genes, including ATG1, ATG2, ATG11, and others, were also downregulated, suggesting that reduced phytotoxin production and autophagy inhibition is a consequence of NQ8GII4’s symbiosis.DiscussionThis study investigated the comprehensive molecular and genetic mechanisms governing the interaction between NQ8GII4 and alfalfa roots. Beyond the NQ8GII4-alfalfa system, these findings also provide a valuable molecular framework for understanding the mechanism of interactions between endophytic fungi and their host plants.…”
