Vectorized Treg-depleting αCTLA-4 elicits antigen cross-presentation and CD8+ T cell immunity to reject ‘cold’ tumors
Published 2022-01-01“…Here we assess and identify spatially restricted exposure to a novel strongly Treg-depleting, checkpoint-blocking, vectorized αCTLA-4, as a highly efficacious and potentially safe strategy to target CTLA-4.Methods A novel human IgG1 CTLA-4 antibody (4-E03) was identified using function-first screening for monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and targets associated with superior Treg-depleting activity. A tumor-selective oncolytic vaccinia vector was then engineered to encode this novel, strongly Treg-depleting, checkpoint-blocking, αCTLA-4 antibody or a matching surrogate antibody, and Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) (VVGM-αCTLA-4).Results The identified 4-E03 antibody showed significantly stronger Treg depletion, but equipotent checkpoint blockade, compared with clinically validated αCTLA-4 ipilimumab against CTLA-4-expressing Treg cells in a humanized mouse model in vivo. …”

Significance of supervision sampling in control of communicable respiratory disease simulated by a new model during different stages of the disease
Published 2025-01-01“…By integrating different control measures, respiratory-specific modeling, and disease supervision sampling into an expanded SEI (A) R epidemic model, we found that supervision sampling can improve early warning of viral activity levels and superspreading events, and explained the significance of containments in controlling COVID-19 transmission and the rationality of policy by the influence of different containment measures on the transmission rate. …”

Ibuprofen reduces inflammation, necroptosis and protects photoreceptors from light-induced retinal degeneration
Published 2025-01-01“…Expression of key necroptosis genes, including Ripk3 and Mlkl, were upregulated in LD vehicle-treated mice, but dramatically reduced to near no LD levels in LD IBU-treated mice. Microglia activation and MLKL protein upregulation were observed primarily in photoreceptors 12 h after LD, as assessed by immunohistochemistry. …”

Les techniques de construction du second forum de Bavay (Nord) : utilisation, origine et datation des matériaux en terre cuite
Published 2019-12-01“…The characterization of the materials in terracotta and their incorporation in the different walls enabled us to estimate a volume of between 2,000 and 2,750 m3 (3,600-4,950 t) and a volume of tiles of 246 m3 (440 t).The supply of terracotta from a relatively distant region raises questions, as there were nearer workshops in activity. On account of the considerable quantity of terracotta required, multiple suppliers were called upon, spread over the Meuse Valley, which led to a relative heterogeneity of materials, but reduced waiting time in line with the needs of the site. …”

Reflections and trajectories for interdisciplinary research on the energy transition
Published 2024-06-01“…These are some of the strategies, pathways, measures and actions that can take place by exploiting the availability of the substantial financial resources allocated by governments for transitions, stimulating the sensitivity of local administrators and enhancing the skills and transversal competencies of technicians and operators in the sector, but also and above all by raising users’ awareness of the risks posed by climate change, to activate their ‘behavioural’ response to the consumption of energy and non-renewable natural resources. …”
