“…تعد أنشطة النقل والمواصلات من الأنشطة الاقتصادية الهامة فى الدولة والتى تسهم بدور کبير فى تقدم الدول وتحضرها وتقوم فکرة البحث على تناول وثائق الوحدة الأرشيفية لوزارة المواصلات المصرية المودعة بدار الوثائق القومية بالدراسة النقدية التحليلية بغرض رصد نظم وإجراءات العمل الأرشيفى التى اتبعت فى حفظها وتنظيمها واسترجاعها أثناء فترة عمرها الجارى فى الفترة من 1920م إلى 1971م ، وذلک باستخدام المنهج الوصفى التحليلى ومنهج دراسة الحالة ، وتعتبر إحدى الوحدات الأرشيفية المهمة بالدار نظراً لتنوع وتميز ما ورد بها من معلومات مهمة فى کتابة التاريخ الأرشيفى والسياسى والاقتصادى فى مصر فى مرحلة ما بعد ثورة يوليو 1952م ، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى معرفة تطور أنشطة النقل والمواصلات فى مصر، والتاريخ الإدارى للوزارة وتطور البناء التنظيمى لها ، وکذلک التعريف بالوحدة الأرشيفية من حيث البناء والتکوين والتقدير الکمى والنوعى والمحتوى الموضوعى ومکان الحفظ ، بالإضافة إلى عرض مفصل لکافة مراحل الدورة المستندية التى اتبعت لإدارة وثائق الوزارة منذ مرحلة الإنشاء حتى مرحلة الفرز والاستبعاد والترحيل ، واختتمت الدراسة بعرض للأجهزة والأدوات الکتابية والنماذج المطبوعة التى استخدمت لإنجاز الأعمال داخل أرشيف الوزارة .…”
