Results highlighted causes such as inadequate reproductive health education, societal stigma around divorce, and economic challenges. The socio-economic impact was characterized by economic strains and limited potential earners in single-parent households. Coping mechanisms encompassed community-based support networks, financial literacy programs, and tailored mental health support services. The study advocated for targeted interventions, including comprehensive reproductive health education, economic empowerment initiatives, and integrated support services, to enhance the well-being of single-mother families in Kabale Municipality. These findings offered valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and community stakeholders engaged in addressing the complexities of single motherhood. |
