| description | This research aims to build humanist literature learning in the era of Merdeka Belajar (Freedom of Learning). This research uses the R&D (research and development) method with stages: 1) introduction, 2) development, and 3) evaluation. The results showed that the developed Taba model was effective in improving learning outcomes. The quality of student learning outcomes, teacher activities, and student responses has increased significantly. The average student score for treatment I, which improved students’ ability to appreciate poetry at ES Bagor Kulon Nganjuk and ES Bongkot Jombang, was 60; for treatment II, it was 70.7; and for treatment III, it was 87.6. Results of observations of teacher activities at ES Bagor Kulon Nganjuk and ES Bongkot Jombang in the first implementation of the categories: less than 50%, sufficient 50%, good 5.5%, and very good 0%, in the second implementation of the categories: less than 0%, sufficient 38%, good 50%, and very good 1%, in the third implementation of the categories: less than 0%, sufficient 0%, good 27.5%. The average student at ES Bagor Kulon who answered agree was 91% and disagreed was 9%, while for students of ES Bongkot who answered agree was 90.6% and disagreed was 9.4%. It is recommended to all parties, especially teachers of elementary school to adopt and develop Taba Model as an effort to improve poetry appreciation skills for students. |
