| Summary: | The AU1878L-241 electromagnet in platform screen door (PSD) systems, whose work life could not meet the requirements of PSD systems, was studied and structurally improved. FEM method was used to analyze the performances of old and improved structures of the electromagnet, providing theories and proof to the improved structure by the analysis results of deformation and stress distribution. Friction and wear tests of the electromagnets were also carried out, and the test results showed that the new structure could effectively protect the electromagnet from being worn and prolong its life. |
