| Summary: | The exponential rise of the construction industry has led to an increase in the amount of waste produced by buildings. This is a situation that has numerous negative effects on the environment, as well as on costs, production, time, and the social and economic systems. As a result of increasingly inadequate waste management practices, certain building projects are the source of waste generated by the construction industry. Maintenance procedures that are effective at minimizing downtime should also be emphasized when it comes to the disposal of waste from construction projects. This study suggests waste management practices that can be implemented on site to cut down on waste. Recent study articles have uncovered a total of 54 behaviors. This study examines a variety of structural designs that contribute to waste reduction and includes management approaches that limit the amount of waste that is produced by buildings. In order to determine how much time each practice takes, the mapping process was used. |
