| description | The pricking blood therapy is a Traditional Chinese Medicine nursing technique which shows the effect of dredging channels and reliving blood stasis. In the treatment of chronic skin ulcer of lower limb, the Traditional Chinese Medicine pricking blood therapy is effective to improve the wound healing and relieve pain. This paper summarized the practice experience of pricking blood therapy for the chronic skin ulcer of lower limb. The syndrome differentiation method, indications and contraindications, operation method and cautions of pricking blood therapy were discussed, in order to provide reference for standardized clinical application.
