Description
Summary:This material is the second part in a series of articles describing the first siege of the state-owned Albaza prison in June 1685. The paper presents a description of the numerical number and composition of artillery of the ground forces and warships of the fleet, the Chinese side of the conflict, reconstructed within the framework of a systematic approach. It is worth noting that the initial information describing the objects of research presented by both sides of the event, as well as the description of the key structures in the previous part, has serious discrepancies. Also, in domestic studies, there is only a general description of the composition of artillery weapons and warships. This fact is presumably related to the application of the classical inductive approach in historical research. Background information from Chinese sources on the actual tactical and technical parameters of Chinese artillery allowed the authors to identify the types of siege guns used by the Lanthan army, and also conclude that a flotilla was formed for the siege of Albazin, which included two important groups of ships: to transport the Lanthan expeditionary force to the battlefield and for logistical support. It is worth noting that this conclusion does not contradict the previously mentioned "Luosha" drawing and another "Aihun" drawing from the same source.
