Description
Summary:This study examines the impact of economic factors on the continuation of the conflict in the Kurdish areas outside the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG). The research is based on a comprehensive analysis of various economic indicators and their influence on the conflict in the Kurdish regions of Iraq. The study found that economic factors, such as the distribution of oil revenue, unemployment, and economic development, have a significant impact on the persistence of the conflict. The central government's control of oil resources, which are concentrated in the disputed areas, has resulted in unequal distribution of wealth and limited economic opportunities for the Kurdish population, further fueling the conflict. The study highlights the need for a comprehensive and inclusive economic framework that addresses the economic grievances of the Kurdish population and provides a basis for peace and stability in the region. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and researchers who are seeking to understand the root causes of conflict in the Kurdish areas and proposes possible solutions for resolving the conflict and promoting economic development in the region.
