| Summary: | This study is entitled "The Use of Myth in Literature". It is an attempt to demonstrate the way myth is used in literary texts. The primary objective of the study is to present the types and mechanisms of myth usage in literature. Thus, the current study is concerned with how myth is reflected in literary works. The study is divided into two sections. The focus of the first section is on the term, concept and definition of Use, following this, mechanisms of Use are highlighted. The second section deals with the motives of Use and its types. Finally, the main conclusions and references of the study are presented.
