Summary:Social Interactions in Face-To-Face Situations throughout the Reality of Everyday Life. The Self as a Social Construct in the “Here And Now” Human Interactions. The reality of everyday life presents itself to the individual as an inter-subjective world, a world shared with others, with which one lives in common. The most important experience of daily life is the one taking place in face-to-face interactions. Only during this kind of interaction the other’s manifest subjectivity is completely accessible and visible to me, through a maximum of symptoms. I have access at my own subjectivity thought an inner reflection. Individual identity is the key element of the subjective reality, being formed, maintained and modified inside interactive social processes taking place between individuals in a certain social context. In the defining of the self-image of the individual there are mirrored, the attitudes and behavior of the signifying others towards the respective individual.
