Description
Summary:Abstract Genetic counselling has emerged as scientific liaison between the clinicians, genetic diagnostics and patients these days due to many facts. Genetic counsellors and their importance in diagnosis and treatment of all genetic diseases are growing every day in every corner of the globe. With the increasing reports of different genetic causes behind infertility, scopes and intrusion of genetic counselling in the field of gynaecology have increased tremendously. Therefore, the importance of genetic counselling report or notes also has become highly significant in proper diagnosis and treatment. There exists several global or disease-specific guidelines about how to write genetic counselling reports in those cases, but despite having enough scopes and justification, guidelines are remaining scanty about gynaecological cases. The present manuscript focuses on such a guideline that can be followed in any part of the globe with even minimal infrastructural set-up which will be easy to understand for the clinicians and patients and will be safe and justified also from a genetic counsellor’s corner.
