| Summary: | French cinema can be a useful source to help students learn French as a foreign language. In our study, we approached the subject both theoretically, by presenting the advantages of using film in the study of the French language, the limitations that this method implies (legal aspects especially related to the respect of copyright, difficulties in choosing films, a possible algorithm of film analysis), but also practice, through the analysis of the film Ilégal, which I used in working with students.
