Description
Summary:This article discusses the issues of studying the dynamics of changes in serotonin in biological fluids as a marker in various neuro-orthopedic diseases in patients of different ages. For this, an analysis of clinical practice has been carried out. It is concluded that changes in serotonin levels can be considered as an indicator of pain sensations and control of ongoing therapy in neuro-orthopedic pathologies. The need for a further indepth study of the existing practice of assessing changes in the level of serotonin in biological fluids during conservative treatment and after surgery in various cases of neuro-orthopedic diseases in patients of different ages is indicated.
