| Summary: | Nanometal oxides are exposing their activities in the fields of organic synthesis, material science, drug discovery, drug delivery, biological activities etc. In the current investigation, we envisioned a process for producing V2O5 nanoparticles from Parkia seeds and utilized them to create Nα-protected amino thioacids. The V2O5 NPs characterization was performed using FTIR, XRD, SEM, TEM, and EDX techniques. The thioacids are versatile compounds in organic synthesis, exhibiting their application in the peptide and peptidomimetic design and synthesis. The thioacids are isolated in good yields and are characterized by NMR and mass analysis. Further, the DPPH assay was used to measure the sample's antioxidant activity, and its anticancer activity was also investigated. |
