| description | This work aims to enhance road safety at traffic signals by leveraging IoT technology. Traffic signal violations, such as signal jumping, are a major cause of accidents, leading to injuries and loss of life. Our proposed system focuses on minimizing these risks by introducing a smart IoT-based solution that ensures compliance with traffic rules and promotes safe driving behavior. The system utilizes IoT-enabled actuators and sensors to monitor traffic conditions and enforce signal adherence. When a signal is violated, the system automatically triggers alerts and takes necessary actions to prevent potential collisions. By effectively managing traffic flow and improving the reliability of traffic signals, this project seeks to reduce the likelihood of accidents at intersections. In addition to improving safety, the system also enhances traffic management efficiency, making roads safer for drivers and pedestrians. The integration of IoT technology ensures real-time monitoring and adaptability to dynamic traffic conditions. Overall, this project underscores the importance of modernizing traffic signal systems to protect lives and foster a safer commuting environment. |
