Description
Summary:Based on in vitro culture system of high capacity and fast regeneration of pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) cotyledon. Pepper cultivars were transformed with double Cecropin B and D genes constructed in plasmid pCDB-Ⅱwhich was transferred into Agrobaterium tumefaciens. With the regenerated plants resistance to Kanamycin, the rate of transgenic pepper were surveyed and analysed on four pepper cultivars and three different differentiation groups of the same explant. The results showed that there was remarkable difference among the different pepper cultivars and there was no remarkable difference among the different differentiation groups on the detection of PCR level. No remarkable difference was found between the different pepper cultivars and between the different differentiation groups on the detection of Southern blotting level.
