| Summary: | Abstract In this manuscript, the notion of C ∗ $C^{*}$ -algebra-valued modular metric-like space is initiated. Some fixed point theorems in such spaces are examined using a new version of Meir-Keeler contraction. To demonstrate that the idea presented here is novel and generalizes a few relevant findings in the literature, we provide comparative examples. As an application, new criteria for the existence and uniqueness of a solution to a Fredholm-type integral equation associated with an RLC electric circuit are obtained. |
