Description
Summary:This project studies peripheral erythron component in 160 patients with juvenile uterine bleeding depending on the tone of the autonomic nervous system. We found the following changes in morphology and functional status of erythrocytes: decrease of their dry weight and increase in number of transformed and degenerative forms. Cytochemical studies revealed a decrease in sulfa radicals in erythrocytes of these patients. These changes were particularly noticeable in cases of high sympatic tone of the autonomic nervous system.
