| Summary: | Continuous integration and deployment are practices that have allowed the software development cycle to behave in amore agile way, thanks to the fact that they constantly provide the possibility of automating processes in order to improvetimes and quality. These types of practices require knowledge and in most cases a provider that has tools and resourceswith which to carry out said automations, it is for this reason that Colombian companies have options for all types ofobjectives and economic budgets. , from world-renowned companies such as Amazon Web Services, Google CloudPlatform and Microsoft Azure, but at the same time there are open source tools with active communities that are wellknown and used as alternatives to these large companies, such as Tekton , Jenkins, among others. This review articleaims to identify the advantages, challenges, tools, among other aspects that characterize this phenomenon and why it hasgrown in such a way that companies are looking for options to implement it, at the end of this article it was possible toidentify different tools and success stories that provide security to future companies that intend to continue with the samepath of applied technologies in order to seek change based on new ways of operating the same process. |
