| Summary: | In the digital age, the rise of digital twin has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges to the educational field. Therefore, how to promote the application of digital twin in the education sector has become an urgent problem to be solved. Based on the reality, this research conducts an in-depth analysis of the "past life", "present life" and "future" of the application of digital twin in educational field, so as to reveal its historical origin,realistic existence, future challenges as well as coping strategies. The research finds that: The application of digital twins in education was first enlightened by the technological breakthrough of the aviation industry, further developed in the conceptual prototype of artificial intelligence, and eventually applied to educational field. Digital twin has significant technical advantages in the application of educational field now. Meanwhile, its correlative infrastructures are gradually developing, and its application fields are also changing rapidly. However, there are still some inevitable challenges like technical bottlenecks, ethical norms, tremendous equipment costs, application paradigms, etc. Therefore,in the future, it is necessary to effectively play the educational value of digital twin from the aspects of government,society, and individuals in order to further deepen and expand its scope and value of educational application. |
