| Summary: | Programming has become an important skill to acquire in order to meet the demands of Thailand’s Industry 4.0 society. However, programming remains a challenging and sometimes unengaging subject for some students, which makes it difficult to cultivate skilled professionals in this field. Schools in remote areas often depend on teachers who may lack the necessary expertise in programming and require additional tools to effectively teach the subject. This research aims to offer the feasibility of developing an application based on problem-based learning principles to create a research framework and subsequently develop it into a game-based learning application. This application focuses on collecting data regarding children’s learning behaviors during use and evaluating learning outcomes at each stage. The system is de-signed to adjust the difficulty level based on both the learner’s progress and the teacher’s input, thereby serving as a tool for educators to enhance children’s engagement and accessibility in programming. This initiative is being piloted in schools in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand, particularly among ethnic groups and children living in remote areas. The research findings have been collected and analyzed to inform further development. |
