On the other hand, Culture as a field for political confrontation has been gaining importance within northern irish society. We will focus here on the traditional protestant marching band scene as it negotiates neutrality in the public sphere while pursuing music thought of as an art, proclaimed and/or practiced, with neutralising capacities. |
