The status of depression was assessed by self-rating depression scale （SDS）. General demographics and the other relevant data were collected for univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analysis.ResultsThe prevalence of depression was 55.6% in MHD patients in Hohhot of Inner Mongolia， including 28.3% for mild， 21.0% for moderate and 6.3% for severe. Average monthly family income， number of comorbidities and itching status were the independent related factors for depression according to multivariate regression analysis.ConclusionThe prevalence of mild/moderate depression is relatively high in MHD patients in Hohhot of Inner Mongolia. A rise of average monthly family income is an independent protective factor for depression while higher comorbidity number and greater itching degree are independent risk factors for depression. |
